February Meeting News! I wanted to pass on the details for the February meeting. We will be meeting at Jane and Paul Peterson's church in Morristown. It is about 20 minutes Southeast of Indianapolis and very easy to find. The directions are at the bottom of the email. The meeting is from 12:30 to 4:00 on Saturday, February 16. We ask that you RSVP by sending an email to Ben Staab at staabusafa2009@yahoo.com. Tell me how many are coming. You can pay at the door. I will need your RSVP by Wednesday, February 13. The cost will be $8 each person. It costs more to eat at Applebee's!!!! The menu has not been set but it will be either chicken and sides from a local restaurant or catered by one of our members. Either way it will be great!!! Again, the agenda will be very limited. Time will be spent talking and getting to know one another, networking and maybe a few games. | As we share our cadet's latest accomplishments, we hear a lot of terms like, "Dean's List, Commandant's List, and the pins we have seen on our cadet's uniforms. Merely having a child at the USAF Academy does cause one to "pop" a lot of buttons when parents gather, but when your son or daughter adds one of these awards to their uniform, it is icing on the cake! The link below will take you to a page explaining these awards. |

| This lovely couple became Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Kramer on July 14th! And yes, he is related to one of our former co-presidents! |
| The official transition from Cadet to Second Lieutenant Andrew Kramer. Performing the commissioning is Col. George Eichelberger, cousin to Donna. |
Let's all give Brenda Pfarr and her All Academy Ball committee a big round of applause for all the hard work they invested to bring another wonderful evening of fine dining and dancing to our hard working cadets and their families and friends. Please send me your Ball pictures and stories for inclusion on this web site! |
